Recording - Ethical use of Generative AI in Qualitative Research Webinar
The emergence and ready availability of GenAI has profound implications for research. This powerful technology has the potential to create many opportunities for researchers in all disciplines. However, the technology brings ethical challenges and risks.
This is a topical discussion of how to ethically incorporate GenAI into our qualitative research process. We explored the new GenAI tools in NVivo15 with a view of how we can responsibly navigate the evolving landscape of GenAI in research. We also discussed how to be responsible in our research, considering the far reaching implications of using AI in our research.
This session is facilitated by Dr Jenine Beekhuyzen OAM. As a world renowned research expert often called the Queen of NVivo, Jenine has more than two decades of software experience with thousands of university, government and corporate clients. Having published 70+ international peer review journal publications and supervising many doctoral students to completion, she has pretty much seen all there is to see in qualitative research. Her highly anticipated new book, Qualitative Data Analysis with NVivo 4e, published by SAGE Publications in the UK, is a worldwide success.
